Hello lovely readers,

I hope you all have been having an amazing October. Ours has been a lot of fun and very busy now that everyone is healthy. Two weekends ago we had our annual Halloween party and my Moms and cousins birthday party. I think this is the eleventh year we have had a halloween party. The parties are always a lot of fun, this year was no exception. I loved every second of dressing up and acting like Alexis Rose from Schitt's Creek. I don't usually act out my costume but this year I was Alexis Rose all night. Max unfortunately would not dress up so he came to the party as Max. And although Myla picked her own costume this year she refused to wear it and decided to dress up as a dog (her costume 2 years ago). She did act out being a puppy very well though, it was cute. Justin shaved his beard into a mustache to be Bob from bobs Burgers. It's a show we like and unfortunately most people had no idea who he was so he was pretty disappointed. We had a great turn out and we made loads of memories. Our costume contest winners this year we're.....

Individual: Alayna (Taylor Swift) and Emma Zombie bride)

Interpretation: My mom and dad as a beach bum and surf board

Couple/ Family: The Ramirez family as Super Mario

Over this past week we visited my Aunt Mary, Aunt Donna, and Uncle Tim. We had the opportunity to go see the horses my Aunt rides and the kids loved it. Max was so excited to pet the horses. We also meet the cutest donkey he really wanted us to give him all the lovin and he tried to follow us around to get more cuddles.

Over the weekend we went camping and to the Pickett's annual pumpkin carving party. This happened to be the first year we could actually attend the pumpkin carving party and it was so much fun. I really enjoy getting together with family and we actually threw a small surprise party for my Grandpa who just turned 70 yesterday. After catching up with everyone I spend a good portion of my time driving Max and Myla around on their golf cart. Max really enjoyed riding around. He didn't want to get off of the cart even when it started to rain. I really enjoyed the party and I can't wait to attend it next year!

This weekend is yet again a busy one. We will be staying at a little resort in Amish country with Justins moms family. There are going to be about 26 people there in total on Saturday, so it's like a little family reunion that I know the kids will have a blast at. This is our last big event for October and I'm really excited for it. It's been a spooky and crazy month and I am loving all the memories we are making. I hope you all have a great week and I'll let you know how our trip goes next week.

Talk to you soon,

Alex

The whirlwind mom
