Hello lovely readers,

I hope you have had the best two weeks. We have had a lot of time to relax and go out for some well needed family time. It has been really nice to take time to slow down a little. We have also been doing some science experiments, cooking, hiking, and crafting.

One of our nights out consisted of taking the kids to their first Columbus Blue Jackets hockey game and boy did they love it. Myla was so excited that she was ready to go at 5 pm, since the game didn't start until 7:30 we had to hold her off a bit until the doors opened. She asked when we were going to leave about 100 times. She was also excited because she got to where her uncle's childhood blue jackets jersey. It was a really nice night.

Then last week we went to two birthday parties and the zoo lights. When we went to the zoo the weather was exquisite. We met up with our friends and the kids had so much fun together. They loved the lights. It is always so cute to see Myla having fun with her friends, I just love it.

Since things have slowed down a little bit for us I have been doing more school activities with the kids. We have done some science experiments and we have been going on hikes with my parents. The kids really enjoy it. My dad has been taking videos of their hikes and he is posting them on his YouTube page, you can take a look if you would like to see some of our adventures.

We went to old man's cave last Sunday. The adventure started the moment we arrived. As soon as we got there we found out that Mylas didn't have any shoes so my dad and Justin had to go to Walmart to get her some. We got there at 10:15 but we didn't start hiking until 12:30. Then poor Max fell and busted his face maybe 20 minutes into the walk. He handled it well and we did end up enjoying a nice long walk, it was really great.

Well thats just a little bit of the fun we have been having the past two weeks. I hope you all have a great thanksgiving filled with lots of laughs, good food, and love. The kids and I made a lot of little turkeys for our craft to hand out tomorrow and we made pumpkin bars. The kids had fun mixing everything and while it was a little overwhelming it was fun. I hope that Myla actually tries one tomorrow since she made it, but we'll see.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! Have a great day!!!

Alex
