Hello lovely readers,

I hope you are all doing well!! The past few weeks have been busy and now things are starting to slow down so I can get caught up on things around the house. Two weeks ago I had to have a colonoscopy. For me this is a common occurrence because I have ulcerative colitis. Every two years I have to have one to make sure everything is going well. I luckily have been in remission for a long time now. Usually my colonoscopies don't go well, I wake up during them and I yell at the nurses so I really hate the procedure. This time however they used anesthesia and the whole thing went very well. I also used water enhancer to help the prep drink not taste as terrible so it was a win. I did find out that one of the polyps they found was an adenoma with low grade dysplasia. That's a benign tumor with a very low chance of abnormal cells. It's benign so nothing to worry about but now I have to have another colonoscopy next year instead of two years.

Since I had to go through all of that fun stuff Mylas got to stay with Aunt Mary for a few days and she had a great time. We picked her up when our Aunt's neighborhood had trick or treat so we got to go trick or treating twice. The weather was amazing when we went at my aunt's but it was bitterly cold when we went in our friends neighborhood, there was even snow. I was really glad the kids got to enjoy the nice weather in my aunt's neighborhood they went to so many houses and they got a ton of candy. When we went with our friends we only lasted about 40 minutes and we spent the rest of the time having a playdate which was a lot of fun.

Then this past weekend Justin and I took on a painting job at the barn my Aunt rides at. It took the whole weekend because the lobby is pretty large. I did end up enjoying the job a lot and found out painting can be relaxing. We listened to music the whole time. We also had poles we attached the paint rollers to and it made such a difference. I will not paint any other way again.

Now that all of the October fun is over and we finished our painting gig we finally have a free weekend to get the house back together. I just got caught up on laundry which took forever and now we may be able to relax a little. I hope you all had a great few weeks!

Alex
